What is Tantra?

What is Tantra?

What is Tantra?

The essence of Tantra is connecting with your inner life force, also known as Shakti or Kundalini. This energy is the dynamic feminine aspect of the Supreme Divine and is worshipped as the Source. Tapping into this energy empowers us into fulfilling our true-life purpose.

We have created some Tantric inspired Affirmations for you to work with your innate Shakti energy.

“I awaken the primordial essence of cosmic energy that activates the cells of my being”
“My breathe is the sacred expansion & contraction of the universe in motion”
“The water that flows through me once flowed through my ancestors”
“I honour the internal river which guides me through life”
“I value my body as a sacred, sovereign temple”
“I give to myself & others in equal measure”
“I am, I am, I am”

Affirmations free us from limiting insecurities and judgements and replace them with beliefs of unlimited personal potential.

Daily Tantra Ritual:

On your altar, place a photograph of your teacher, or someone who really inspires you. Light a candle in honour of them and sit in mediation for 15 minutes. This practice of gratitude grows our internal flame.

Make offerings to spirit. What do you want to offer the Earth? Perhaps it’s water, incense, flowers or food. This practice of selflessness cultivates a mindset of abundance.

Write down your personal affirmations. This helps imprint them onto your subconscious mind. Speak them out loud with heart and sincerity.

Yoga. As you move through Sun Salutations (Surya Namaska) imagine your teacher in your mind’s eye and offer up your movements with love and gratitude. Worshipping the sun as the symbol for pure consciousness expands awareness to incorporate more light into your being.

Practice Kundalini-Shakti-Bhakti Mantra
Adi Shakti, Adi Shakti, Adi Shakti, Namo Namo!
Sarab Shakti, Sarab Shakti, Sarab Shakti, Namo Namo!
Prithum Bhagvati, Prithum Bhagvati, Prithum Bhagvati, Namo Namo!
Kundalini Mata Shakti, Mata Shakti, Namo Namo!

Connect with your breath. Our beautiful friends over at @_thelightcollective_ have developed a unique community where you can access ancient teachings of pranayama, mantra, kundalini kriya & meditation. Their membership is a wonderful resource to help build your daily Sadhana (spiritual practice) rituals.

We exist in-relationship with the world around us, not outside of it. Finding a flow through this communion is how the sense of self grows to incorporate more of the outer space into its identity. This internal river remains healthy when allowed to stream fluidly along its own journey. Healing through Tantra means unblocking the unconscious walls built up around your own heart.

Finding your inner peace will naturally transform your outer world.

Resting inside your inner being is the vehicle to expansion.
