Whenever we wash synthetic garments, tiny plastic fibres are released and make their way from the washing machine to our waterways. This unseen impact can potentially be very damaging to the environment. The GUPPYFRIEND ™ Washing Bag protects synthetic garments and collects these fibres before they can be washed into our drains and into our waterways.

Details

Once you have washed your garments in the GUPPYFRIEND™, it will collect all the tiny pieces of plastic or material microfibres, making it easy to dispose of the waste responsibly.

The inside of the bag is slick—even where the tiny threads cross—this leads to reduced abrasion and breaking of fibres. The clothes in the bag undergo less mechanical stress and less friction with other clothes, which leads to decreased fibre loss and a longer lifetime of the textiles.

Care

• Rinse the bag with water after each use to remove collected fibres.

• Dispose of collected microfibres responsibly in the trash, not down the drain.
